Cute DH/Intro

Since I hadn't officially said hello yet, I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone.

DH and I have been married a little over 2 year, and I've finally gotten the go-ahead from him to start TTC in August. His main concern has always been financial, and he finally agreed we're in a good place all around. I should also add that I'm an accountant that works in public accounting, so tax season is a big deal.

So to the more interesting part of my post. Yesterday I comment on how our TTC start date is getting closer. DH says "well, we can start July 15th, because 9 months from then is April 15th and because its our first you'll deliver late, so we'll avoid tax season, right?" Oh DH, I love you enthusiasm, but no, that's not how it works (I've lurked enough on these forums to know that is not how to calculate due dates). It's nice to have him excited about this (although I suspect he's more excited about the babymaking process, lol).

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!

    Thanks, I've seen that advice and have indeed read it. My ability to handle flaming is limited at best so I'll do my best to keep my questions informed. Smile

    Welcome and good luck :) DH's can be so funny sometimes! Mine wanted to delay TTC until next cycle, as he was convinced that if we started this cycle we would get pregnant and baby would be born on his birthday!

    I think that almost daily my DH says something so incredibily ridiculous about TTC, due dates, ovulation, etc.  At least he's entertaining!
