LO's daycare said she had a blister about the size of a pencil eraser on the roof of her mouth yesterday. They said it did not look like Hand Foot Mouth or Thrush but more like a tiny canker sore. I did not see it at all last night but this morning her teacher said she did see it still there but it had gone way down in size..now it is about the size of LO's fingertip. It is on the roof of her mouth to the right side.
She has no fever, no extra fussiness and is nursing and taking her bottles like a champ. I have a call in to the dr and np but I am just curious if anyone has seen anything like this or knows what it is.
Re: little blister on the roof of LO's mouth
just curious if you heard back from doc yet? Is she sucking too hard on the nipple? Maybe you need a wider opening in the nipple? Just a thought....
