I probably wasn't as sensitive in my first pregnancy, and I love that DH is always honest with me. BUT...there are sometimes he could really use a filter! Here's the latest:
"Look a new stretch mark!"
"Aw, you're waddling"
(after asking him why I had wallpaper pieces all over me from redoing the nursery) "It's because you have more lumps than I do!"
Anyone else's DH a little too blunt?

Re: Does your DH need a filter or just mine?
Ok, that made me LOL. But I would be super pissed if my DH said that to me!

I was dancing around in my bra and panties and said "I look good. Maybe I should wear a bikini this weekend" (we are going to his family reunion).
His response "You wouldn't dare. I would give you a $100 to do it".
Left me thinking, huh, didn't know this was bet worthy.
Too funny....I actually got that same comment about a week ago. Like seriously....I don't have long tusks or walk on all fours. Still have NO idea where he got that one. If we have a son, I am pretty sure he will be JUST LIKE HIM!
I was complaining the other day about how big my arms have gotten and DH said "yeah, I noticed that too."
I know I set myself up for it but still, I was hoping he would at least lie and say they don't look any bigger.
DH takes the "Every day I'm shufflin..." and turns that into "Everyday you're waddlin', waddlin'..."
I was really surprised mine has kept his mouth shout for the most part! But got me last week with the
"Damn I love your a$$ but it has grown like 3 sizes bigger.... will it go down?"
I just looked at him and he walked away very fast!!!

I think my DH has realized by this point in my pregnancy to shut his mouth. I haven't heard a waddling or wow look at your belly phrase from him in weeks. So I am hoping that he has figured it out not to mess with me while I am pregnant.
2.0 is on the way! EDD: 2/24/15
Yes - just the other day he says sarcastically:
Honey you're not pregnant are you!
Me: Jeez what the heck made you think that?
DH: Your belly, boobs and ass are huge!!
Thanks honey!! I knew the belly and boobs were huge, but I was in denial about my ass.
Vroom, vroom.

I never take these comments H makes seriously. But I do love reminding him of the stupid crap he says (all joking of course).
I actually laughed at all of these too. However, when DH said it to me, it made me want to cry. Damn hormones!

My DH has sang the same thing. haha.
He also said to me the other day, "Wow, you're ravenous!" Um, yes, yes I am.
