Trying to Get Pregnant

When Life Hands You Lemons... (NTTGPR, just a rant)

Be thankful it wasn't herpes...

I had to take a PT Thursday, I knew I wasn't, but some a-hole decided to run a red light and t-bone me, causing me to be rear ended by another car, then hit a truck, fire hydrant and a newspaper stand. I told the ER doctor I wasn't but she insisted I take one for precaution since as you can see in my siggy, it's been a while. BFN. Durr. Oh well, Mr. a-hole can pay for that with his insurance along with my other medical bills that are soon to be heading their way.

So now, I have no car, I will probably not get enough money to have it paid off. I have a strained hip, neck and spine, knot on the back side of my head, gnarly bruise on my arm and a swollen ankle. The PA at my doctor's office told me my spine is shifted slightly and my muscle spasms are for to try to get it back to where it was before. I'm frustrated that I will more than likely have to pay some OOP for my car as well as come up with a down payment on a new car. He was sorry, but sorry doesn't give me my car back and it surely doesn't take this pain away.

  • I am so sorry that that happened, that's awful.  It sounds like a little rough road for recovery and I know this isn't much, but overall it could have been a lot worse (stating the obvious, I know).  I hope that his insurance will do more than you're expecting and this can move along as fast as possible.  Just take it easy and I hope that you get through it as smoothly as you can.  So sorry!
  • Oh my goodness! I am sooo sorry that happened to you. Wrecks suck and can eff your body up for a while. I hope you heal fast and  I hope that guy has to pay you enough $$$ to cover a car and medical bills. :(

I am very sorry that this happened to you. It sounds awful, though I don't get the comparison to herpes.

  • How horrible! I am so sorry this happened to you. I lived abroad for a couple of years, and when I came back, I noticed that people where I live have become much worse drivers. I blame smartphones and general idiocy.

That being said, I hope you feel better soon. Did the doc give you any pain meds?

  • I'm sorry that happened to you, and I hope you feel better really soon :(

  • YIKES!! Family of mine just got into a car accident recently too and I'm really sensitive to this topic right now. It's amazing you were able to walk away from what sounds like such a disaster! I am sooooo sorry you have to go through this :(

    Take care of yourself. T&P!
