I am so happy I finished this project and it came out exactly like I had hoped, I forgot to take a before picture of the original dresser, but this is the matching smaller size dresser.
These are a few of the finished product. The room is going to have purple and aqua accents with the walls being gray and white (I am going to start measuring out chevron stripes for one wall today).

lol thats fine, I can't remember exactly where I got the idea from because I watch HGTV a lot, but I think it was actually Nate Berkus. The guy at the paint store thought I was crazy when I was telling him what the paint was for. He was like "your going to paint the inside of a dresser, not on the outside at all???" He actually asked for me to bring in a finished product photo because he just didn't get it lol.
I did the same thing this weekend with an old dresser for our guest room. Painted it grey and did lime green on the sides. I love doing creative stuff like this!
