We're thinking about Silas for a boy's name? Probably Silas Benjamin (Benjamin is a family name). Thoughts?

I don't love Silas. I just think of Silas Marner by George Eliot when I hear the name. I love Benjamin.

I really like Silas, it'll be on our short list if we ever have a second boy. We already plan to use Samuel after my grandfather for our first. Silas Benjamin sounds really nice together.

My friend named her son this last fall. He is Silas Kenneth, but was almost Silas Owen. It's not necessarily my style, but I don't have a problem with it.
