Cardiologist Appointment (PIP)

Yesterday we took DS to the cardiologist to see if his heart murmur and other issues had resolved themselves.  He had a couple tests done and we found out that all of the issues remedied themselves, but they found a hole in his heart.  The Dr was pretty sure it would close by the time he is one.  Overall, good news.

My DD has 3 small holes in her heart (ventricular septal defects). They are very small and should close on their own like your sons. Glad he was such a trooper at the appt! I know it's stressful... I nearly threw up/passed out when they told me something was wrong with her heart.

That is aweome that they think it will close on its own though, I had a cousin that needed hers surgicly closed but she he now a happy and healthy 17 year old, you would never know the differance.

Aw what a little trooper!  Andy had a heart murmur at birth but it has since cleared up.  Hope his closes up on his own!  He's a cutie!

I was surprised the murmur was gone already, but relieved that its hopefully no longer a worry.  We'll keep our fingers crossed that his one year appointment shows that the hole is gone.

What a sweetie! Christian had so many heart test done because he was in the NICU. Several echo's & ekg's. There are so many wires. Glad to hear your LO is doing well.

My LO has 3 small holes as well. We just saw his cardiologist on friday for a 3 month follow up after the hospital. He had to have an EKG as well. From what the EKG said and what the cardiologist heard, they sound like they are closing. We have to go back in 3 months for another ekg and an echo.
