DH and I have been mostly taking pics of DS using our smartphones. Today I finally loaded all of the pictures into Shutterfly and started to order some prints but I got a message " One or more of these pictures has insufficient resolution
for the print sizes you've selected." So does this mean all of those pictures are going to print all grainy/pixelated?!? Sh!t!!!!!!!!!! I am going to order some to see but I am FREAKING out right now. We have very few pictures on our actual camera. Tell me they aren't all ruined! Has anyone else had this problem?!?! We need to start using our camera stat! CRAP.
Re: baby pics - freaking out - and possible PSA
I once had a picture until the trolls showed up.

I take a lot of pics of J daily with my iphone. I find that lighting is the key with this. The picture in my signature is an iphone pic. It came out crystal clear because the lighting was great--we printed it in black & white in an enlargement of 11x14 to hang on our wall and it looks perfect. However, pictures that we have taken in lower light have come out crappy and I've gotten those warnings as well.
I try to take the important pics with our camera but sometimes you get a gem (I fell in love with the pic in my siggy and I was kicking myself for not having my real camera on me) and it's hit or miss if it is going to come out well. I guess that's the risk you take when you rely on your phone.
Hi, longtime lurker here. Like PP said, you can load your pics into Instagram and there are a bunch of different sites that print through there. The one I use is called PistalPix. It's an app. You can order Instagram pics in 4x4, 5x5 and 8x8 and you can order non Instagram pics in 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10. I've ordered over 200 prints so far in the 4x4 size and they come out PERFECT!!! Like another PP said though, I'll get the resolution warning message if I have a pic that was taken in low light but it still prints exactly how it looks on my phone.
