Had my first appointment with the peri! We had a pretty long u/s where we found out...
We're Team Blue x2!!
I'm scared but so happy! I guess I'm meant to have a house full of boys! DH, DS, 2 male dogs, and now the twin boys!!
They were also able to find a dividing membrane (their u/s machine was a lot better than the OB's)!!! That means we are Mono/Di and although we no longer have to worry about umbilical cords we now have new risks. Over all this is a less high risk pregnancy and we could not be more happy! I feel like I have a new lease on life now that I'm not guarenteed to be hospitalized at 24 weeks (or ever...FX..at least until birth)!
The Dr. also said that if they are both head down this could mean a vaginal delivery. Which before I would be so happy about... but after watching my best friend having a c section and how amazing it went... I'm a little scared to go natural! I was getting use to the idea of not having to go through labor and pushing 2 babies out! I guess there is enough time to get use to the idea again and I should be thankful!
Just happy for a great appointment! I'll still have an u/s every 2 weeks so we're glad we get to see our little guys so often!
I updated my siggy with pics but here's some more...
