Diaper sprayer

We just started DD on solids (2 tbs of veggies in the AM).  Her poops are not a lot different, but a little thicker in consistency.  When did you start using the diaper sprayer?  They don't really seem like it's necessary quite yet.

DD is 13 months and I've never used one- just dump what I can into the toilet and throw the diaper into the wash.

I started spraying once we started solids.

I would have quit without one. DS was a slow solids eater, and things were really really gross for at least 5 or 6 months.

We started spraying as soon as DD started solids, just to get in the habit.

You'll be able to tell when you really need to do something with the poop though.  It will become thick and pb-like.
