Quick question: I just noticed that my 'non-dairy' creamer has sodium caseinate, and when I went to purchase it this week they had added an asterisk to the ingredient and included a bolded allergy statement: Contains a milk derivative. Is this ingredient a concern for a dairy allergy?
If so, can anyone recommend a non-dairy creamer brand? I am using almond milk in the meantime, but it's not the saaaaaaame!
Re: Q: Sodium Caseinate, "milk derivative"
Some babies may not be so sensative - but mine is. Sodium caseinate - a milk derivative would be a concern for her dairy allergy... sorry.
Me too! I tried several options before finding So Delicious coconut creamer & found it to be the only thing that tasted similar to real creamer. Their non dairy frozen desserts are also delicious!
