So I'm having the one hour test done tomorrow after work. On my instructions, it says to avoid any drinks or food that contain sugar the day of the test. This may sound dumb, but that does mean zero sugar for the day, right? The examples they give are mints, gum, and cough drops. I'm trying to figure out what to eat all day long that would have absolutely no sugar.
It says that toast is a good idea for breakfast. Guess I'll be eating a loaf of bread tomorrow, since I won't be getting to the lab until 3. ![]()
Any ideas?

My doctor didn't tell me anything.
with DS I ate a Taco Bell meal box right before my appt and this time around I had oatmeal and a glass of apple juice 3 hrs before.
I would definitely eat protein! My instructions say to each well balanced meals and avoid overly sugary foods (ie, poptarts, cookies, etc)
My instructions included:
Suggestions for breakfast include eggs, non sugary cereal, and a small amount of fruit or juice.
Suggestions for lunch include: sandwiches, veggies, lean protein like chicken.
