My husband and I have been working for quite some time to get pregnant. Just when we were starting to lose hope, I skipped my period. I have a very regular period cycle, but in June instead of getting my period, I spotted for 14 days. This dipped for a week than started again for about four days. I took a pregnancy test and it came up negative. The whole month of June I never once got my period. Instead, I had very, very light brown spotting that lasted about two days in the beginning of July. On Monday when I was supposed to begins my new period, I slipped, instead I had one particularly bad case of heartburn, a few headaches, my nipples became sore as did one part of my breasts, and I started having weird cramping in my pelvic region. Almost like a pressure.
After having a pregnancy test tell me there was no hope, I still think that there must be some reason for this considering I'm healthy, I'm only 22 and I should be able to do this.. Would anybody happen to have to insight for me? Advice?
Re: We've been trying for so long to get pregnant. Could I already be?
Read the newbie link, now. Just to help you out in the meantime, this is also in there:
If you think you are pregnant, take a test. We can?t tell you if you are pregnant or not, only a test can. Don?t ever start a post on TTGP asking us if you are pregnant, this will not go over well.

Your test told you there was no hope?? Sheesh, harsh. Mine just say negative.
If you had a negative test, then your not pregnant. That's usually how those work.
this!
You aren't pregnant if the test is negative. Oh my goodness I can see why people get sick of this poop. I will just copy & paste.
Either you a) missed your fertile window completely. So you aren't really late. b) you might be pregnant & testing too early.
All you can do is wait. If you get to 60 days without a positive pregnancy test or your period, call your doctor to investigate.

1 and 2 - really, something about this wording just seems off and for some reason makes me suspicious.
3 - based on what? You really haven't given enough info on this. You said "quite some time" are we talking a few months/cycles or over a year? If its the former, then you may still be able to "do this" it just takes some time and some luck, if the latter then have you been to a doctor to tell you are healthy?
I'm going to go out on a limb and predict one of two possible outcomes to this post.
Either 1.) OP won't come back
or
2.) OP will come back, probably after some time-a day maybe, and go with the "ZOMG you b**tches are sooo mean. I came here for advice" wah wah wah
First off, that was rude. But I'm sure you guys get that a lot so I understand. I do other communities so I get the troll or 'one time posters'.
9 did plan to return, but I have a job so I can only check back so often.
And of course this is the thing you comment on....

We can't tell you if you are pregnant. If you are concerned, go to your doctor.
The rule of thumb is if you don't have a period in 60 days, call your doc. You could just be having a few wacky cycles for no reason. Good luck!

Kinda like this?
This exact thing happened to me last month. I would suggest charting. I had spotting mid cycle and then didn't ovulate until cd41. My cycles were never usually more then 30 days.
If I wasn't charting I would've been pretty confused. If you are taking pregnancy tests and they are coming back negative, you are not pregnant. You probably just ovulated later in your cycle.
