Hey ladies, sorry I have another question! Geez, you'd think I just had my first RE appointment. I guess that's what I get for taking a year off
Anyways, my husband had an SA done 2 years again and all came back normal. All I know is the count was 100 million and motility was good. No one said anything regarding morph but my RE looked at the results and was happy.
Fast forward to today. We had another SA done since it had been awhile and the results seem really good except morph:
Count- 128 million
Motility- 65%
Morph-5%
Is the morph too low? The nurse said it was fine for IUI but of course I'm wondering....
Is this considered MFI? We are currently unexplained/ovulation issues.
Sidenote: He did the collection at home and I had to drive it 40 mins away. They tested it about an hour after collection....does this matter?
Thanks again and sorry for all the questions! (My DH calls me question master...haha! I think I fit the description)
Re: Me again, ? regarding SA results
Lap&Dye/Hysterscopy Feb 2012: Endo stage 2
April - June 2012: Femera 5 mg & 3 IUIs = All BFN July/August 2012: IVF #1 = C/P
September/October 2012: IVF #2 BFP! Beta 1= 223 Beta 2 = 480 Beta 3 = 11,440
My beautiful daughter was born June 21, 2013
TTC #2 naturally, no luck
IVF #3 April 2015: BFN
IVF #4 July 2015: BFP! Beta 1 9dp5dt = 409, Beta 2 13dp5dt = 1743
As long as that's the strict morph assessment, then it's normal. As PP stated 4%+ is normal. Some REs like to see 8% and some stick to the really old standards of 14%, but most men don't have that.
5% is great, especially with a high count. That is definitely NOT MFI. :-)
