I'm wondering if I need a diaper pail and a diaper liner or if I can just hang my large wetbag on a hook by my diaper changing table and use that for dirty dipes. What do ya'll do?
I think it depends on where you plan on doing the majority of your changing. Right now I really only change her downstairs, so I have a pail and liner in her room but almost never use it. I use 2 medium wetbags downstairs that I switch between.

It also depends on how long you intend to go between washing. I only wash twice a week so my bag is pretty full and therefore heavy when I go to wash it, I think if it was hanging somewhere there would be some major wear and tear.
I even got a second trash can for my living area because I don't like a wet bag usually. I have very wiggly kids and I can't use two hands to open the bag and put the diaper in, so I use trash cans with pedals or the spinning tops.
I just use a large hanging wet bag. I read that many of the plastic garbage cans can hold onto smells and that most people clean them periodically for that reason. I wasn't interested in cleaning a smelly pail, so a wet bag it is for me!

I have 2 XXL hanging wetbags. One stays on the doorknob to my LO's closet (next to the changing table). It goes in the wash with the dipes and then the next one comes out to be filled. So we are always rotating between the two. I guess they do see some heavy wear and tear but they are really strong wetbags so I have never had a problem.
BTW- it does get heavy so a hook might not be strong enough to hold it.

Ditto this. I do 99% of all at home changes in DD's bedroom. I just use my large hanging wetbag.
