Bad weather anyone?

Just curios to see if anyone of you ladies are getting the nasty storms we are having in SE VA right now. We had a worse one last night and had a limb hit the house, thankfully no damage. So, hows the weather where you are?

I'm in SE VA right with you and suffering through this storm - I say suffering only because my poor pooch wants to go outside desperately but as soon as she saw it was raining turned tail and came right back inside.

Not horrible as I hear it is for you guys, but I have high 90 heat here in TX all through the weekend and next week with no rain in sight!

It isn't our weather that is the problem. The problem is that it feels like half the state is on fire. (I bet you can guess where we are from).

Hot hot hot. Its been hotter than the desert here this last week, and while we got a few sprinkles of rain. A town about 30ish mins away was the hottest place in the world at the beginning/mid of the week, and yes we are in the states.

All I can say is, it's HOT down in SC!  It's been 105 for a few days now and you can't even walk outside.  We haven't had any rain, so wish we would but the weather does say "chance of thunderstorms" today.  Lord knows, we sure could use it.

Here in MA last week and the week before it was horrible thunder, lighting, and rain storms. This weekit's 80's & 90's with high humidity. I LOVE the heat, hubby and I went out yesterday at 12:30 and by the time we headed home at 4pm I was I exhausted, CRANKY, and not feeling well.

Here in NJ we had a real nasty storm come through the other night. Thankfully my area wasn't affected but friends and family got hit pretty bad. No power till July 6th is what the electric company is stating. Trees down on homes and cars. At a near by camp ground two young children were killed when a tree fell on their tent. Absolutely horrible. I just hope that those without power are finding relief somewhere from the heat.

Try 100* + heat and no power for ac or fans! The storms hit on friday night and as of Saturday the power company is saying at least 5 to 7 days until they get the power back on!

I tried to contact the store I'm transferring to (we're moving to VA in less than 2 weeks) and the phone lines were down. We're in Denver until the move so we've been right between the fires for a while. Haven't seen/smelled much of the smoke but I know most of the 4th of July celebrations have been cancelled due to the crazy heat & susceptibility to fires.

Where are y'all at? We're in SE VA (Virginia Beach) and got nothing last night. A little rain and some lightning, nothing abnormal! I hope everything turns out good for you!

We're in OH and finally have power back from Friday night when the worst of it came through. But there's still so many without power in the area and it's been 100+ degrees since last Wednesday. Just do that best you can with what you have..

I'm in Hampton, so not terribly far from VB!  We had a ton thunder and lightening and some rain.  It only rained hard for a bit, I think, but the thunder lasted most of the night!

Im In WV and we got hit bad. No power or water from Friday night till last night about 7:00PM. At 33 weeks pregnant this was NOT fun.
