can you freeze medela bottles?

I EBF and don't currently have bags for the freezer. I have the medela plastic bottles that came with the pump, can I freeze them? Or do I have to transfer to a bag?

Yup! Those are fine. Just twist the cap on nice and tight.

I freeze mine all the time. Just don't drop it, it cracks if it's frozen! (I've learnt that the hard way..)

When buying the bottles separately the small medela bottles that hold 2.7 oz say on the box they can be frozen, but the bigger ones that hold like 5 oz don't say whether or not they can. My pump came with the 5 oz ones. Are you talking about those? If so I have the same question!
