I had a follow up appointment due to bleeding and cramping but my Doctor found a heartbeat and I am just over the moon. I didn't bleed with my first and he informed me that this is normal and I'll have another follow up on Monday. I'm just over the moon. So we are 8 weeks today and I'm supposed to be taking it easy until I'm out of the 1st tri.

I have bled every time I was pregnant. It is so scary.
I think it is more common than is let on.
According to the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy, bleeding occurs in about 40% of all pregnancies, and about half of those end in miscarriage. That means that 20% of healthy pregnancies have bleeding, which is kind of a lot!
