Short naps

The last week or my 2 year old has started taking shorter and shorter naps. Today it was 30 minutes, down fro 2-3 hours a few weeks ago. Nothing has changed in terms of what she does in the morning. What is going on? She was waking up crying and screaming, so I thought nightmares. But today she woke up fine and was wide awake. She goes down very easily and is definitely tired. 

Does this mean she is soon to be giving up her nap?

    My DD did that. Turns out she was getting her molars. Now she is back to 2 hr naps. I'd say keep trying and wait it out. Good luck!

    Thanks, I hope it is this and it is temporary. I am not ready for her to give up her naps. How long did it take for her molars to come in? She has definitely been complaining of tooth pain, especially in the back of her mouth and fighting me more than normal when it is time to brush.
