LO's eye

My sister and I took DS out to the beach for the first time today.  It was a mixture of crying and laughing.  I then noticed three red dots next to his eye...like in the corner going out towards the temple, and his eye was watery.  It's been 4 hours now and that eye is still watering.  He is playing with his toys right now, but when I look at him, he has a tear running down his face.  Any idea of what is wrong with that eye? I'm thinking maybe some sand scratched it.  Anything I can do to rise his eye out? I tried regular water... but it's still watering.

Re: LO's eye

  • I've heard breastmilk works like a charm.....???
  • My LO had some puss in her eye after being outside and I rinsed it three times during the day and finally it got better towards bedtime and was clear in the morning.  I was prepared to go to the dr if it lasted overnight.  GL.

:(  I stopped breast feeding since 6 months .  -- It's getting better.  Not tearing up anymore, but just red.  Poor lil dude.  We will just stick to the pool from now on.  Thanks ladies!
