I really hope that you're only making the canopy that goes over the handle, and not a slip cover that goes in the seat. Not only does that go against the manufacturer's instructions, it's not at all safe. That's why you don't see them in stores. Car seats are federally regulated in US and Canada to pass certain crash standards, altering the seat changes things.
It's a good thing you're only asking for opinions on the product, because promoting products for sale goes against the Bump's TOS. You may get deleted for Spam.
FWIW, you'd be better off doing the canopy shade that ties to the handle, and making a winter cover shower cap style, those are acceptable. But you'd have to have something pretty unique, those are more readily available.
