Having 1 copy is not necessarily a huge cause for concern, you will probably just need to be on extra folic acid.

I have been diagnosed as homozygous A1298C.  My RE has me on high doses of b6, b12, 4mg of folic acid, and a low dose baby aspirin.  We also added a daily shot of lovenox since we had a very visible clot found in the D&C tissue when we suffered our loss last April.

I have major freak our issues since we have suffered a loss and I'm AMA-- almost 41.

I have one copy of the gene. Some doctors don't see it as a big deal, but my hematologist wasn't as quick to write it off as others are. As long as your doctor knows you have it, I am sure they will recommend the best approach/treatment for you.

I did have a postpartum clot with my last pregnancy, and (other than the post partum hormones) it appears to be the only additional risk factor I have.

Well my sister had the clotting thing and received 2 shots a day of something in her belly everyday, so when I told him I was wanting to try, I went the hemotologist and that's when we found out I had the one mutation. My doctor doesn't think I need to have the shots but like I had said above he had me on folic acid and prenatal vitamins starting the last month I was taking the pill, so I have been on both while TTC. I just get nervous, I hate any obstacles : (

You dont need the shot for heterozygous, you need it for homozygous.  I am Hetero for the C mutation, but i have about 6 or 7 other clotting disorders that require me to be on Lovenox & Baby Asprin.
