First IUI in forecast...

Currently on cd 11 and ready for my ultrasound appointment tomorrow! I'm hoping we will see some mature eggs and be able to do our first IUI this weekend. 

 

Has anyone ever experienced a case where they did the IUI same day or next day?

I getting antsy and excited for the procedure!

 

I finished my clomid cycle on day 7-anyone experience some side effects the two days after? I found myself very emotional!

 

Anywho! Just wanted to share my story! This is our first attempt and are hoping for a BFP in two weeks!

    This cycle I went in on CD11 and was already surging when I went in (took an OPK prior to going in) so they took some blood to test my LH levels and saw that I was having a natural surge, so I did not trigger and we did the IUI the next morning.

    The ladies on Trouble TTC and IF have a lot of experience with IUIs and would be a great help/support. Good luck!!

    Yes.  Once I went in and my blood work showed I was surging, so we did the IUI the next day.  At that point it was too late for a trigger, though my doctor had me take it anyway as a "boost."

    Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011
    9 IUIs = 9 BFNs
    IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen
    ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E
    FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E
    Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal
    FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!
    EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14

    Great news!!! Everything looks great and I'm ready for IUI in the morning. I took the shot around 845am since my dr instructed me to go right home and do it!

     

    Im so excited and nervous! Hoping for a painless procedure and in a few weeks a BFP!

    Well my IUI was Friday (cycle day 13)! Everything went great, quick and painless really.

     I will go in on Friday am to test my levels to make sure I ovulated on time.

     

    Now I just need to wait the LONGGGGGGG two weeks before I can take the blood test. I will have to go into the office because I did the trigger shot and its known to give false postives.

     HOPING FOR A BFP!!!!!!! I will keep everyone posted. Thank you everyone for your support!
