DH thinks it's time for us to change our daughter's mattress to something more comfortable.  She still uses her original crib mattress b/c she has a convertible crib. Did any of you do that at this stage? (DD will be 3 years old in 2 months).  If so, where did you get it and what type? TIA

Instead of buying a new mattress, we just bought one of those foam mattress topper things and cut it down to the right size. WAY cheaper!

Just bought a foam egg crate (there are a ton of them in the stores right now for kids getting ready for college) at Target or Walmart
