Nicknames for baby girl

We are settling on our names right now, and while Penelope Grace is our #1 choice for a girl, I am having a difficult time with the nickname Penny. I don't want to be "that mom" telling and reminding everyone to call her by her full name, so I was hoping you could all help with some alternate nicknames for her! (if a little Penelope is in my belly right now!) I am not in love with Nell or Nellie, but I haven't heard too many variations. Any input is appreciated! TIA!

    Ha! This is our #1 choice too, and I also dislike the NN Penny. What to do?!?!?

    You may find that once she's born, you might warm up to some of the nn options that you dislike now. We picked out Vivienne expecting to be those parents that insisted people call her by her full name. We though Viv and Vivy were horrible nn's, but we use them both now. They just grew on us.

    What about using her middle name as a nickname? Gracey? The only Penelope I know goes by Penny.

    I thought the same thing.  Love the name Grace and thought Gracey would be cute.

    As for calling her Gracie, we would just name her Grace if we wanted to call her that :) Cute idea though!

    I love it too! DH's grandpa was always called Poppy though, so he doesn't want to use that :(
