Ok, so I know we recently got lunch ideas in a post, so anyone interested in doing the same thing for breakfast? A usually gets a yogurt, then a whole grain waffle or blueberry pancake. Sometimes I do fruit with breakfast, sometimes with lunch. I can sense his boredom and I feel bad for not exposing him to more! So ideas would be greatly appreciated ![]()
ETA: Also A has a mild egg allergy, so we've been avoiding straight on eggs. It limits breakfast! I am going to try them again when he's around 2, as per allergist suggestion. But he can eat things made with eggs, like pancakes or French toast.

Re: Breakfast ideas?
Have you tried oatmeal or smoothies?
There was a recipe (I think on weelicious) for a banana bread pudding thing, but I think it was made with quinoa iirc. I have it printed out at home, but I think it would work for a breakfast option.
Oh, B also likes sausage patties - although we usually save meat for dinner.
ETA - here's the link to the banana pudding thing. I should add, I haven't actually made it, but it seems interesting. Please jilly - be my test kitchen!

We're in a rut, too, but it's a different one. We always do some kind of fruit - that's the variety. Then almost always oatmeal + either half of a waffle, toast, or cereal.
Lately, LO's been dipping & dunking his waffle or toast into his oatmeal or applesauce sometimes - maybe yours could do the same with the yogurt? He also likes putting a cheerio or a berry or piece of fruit onto the spoon with each bite of oatmeal. That might jazz things up a bit, too.
We do veggie & cheese omelets on the weekend.
M-F he gets fresh fruit & either toast or waffle.
Our fruit rotation is usually mangoes & bananas, but we'll also do cantaloupe, strawberries & his most recent favorite - watermelon.
We sort of rotate between a few different things..
Toast, toast w/ pb & j, toasted bagel, scrambled egg, yogurt, pancakes (I make a big batch and they freeze well), oatmeal made with applesauce to sweeten, cream of wheat, or mini wheats soaked in milk for a while.
