Anyone not have success with LPD and progesterone?

The first cycle on progesterone was great. For once my TP was clear a whole cycle (I have Luteal Phase Defect and start spotting CD 8ish). 

This cycle I started spotting at CD9. Boooo... I have a call into the doctor. Does anyone know if breakthrough bleeding means the progesterone isn't working for lengthening the Luteal phase? Or are there other reasons for BT bleeding (besides IB which I am not very hopeful of). 

Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    I had spotting this cycle due to a high jump in estrogen as I was about ready to ovulate.  It did freak me out but my nurse said it was no big deal and the next day my blood work confirmed that I had a big spike.  This was the first cycle that it has happened.

    Oops just realized I goofed - for every CD in my post it was supposed to read DPO. Oh well!
