TTC after 35

New OBGYN appointment made

Since my OBGYN of many years decided to leave her practice without telling any of her patients (still miffed about that), the one I was reffered to no longer delivers babies, and my first RE experience was not the best I have decided to start all over with a new OBGYN.  After some research I think I have found a good one but couldn't get an appointment until Aug 3rd because I'm a new patient.

At first I was a little set back by having to wait over a month (and I'm not getting any younger) but then I found out I'm going to have to travel almost all of July for work so TTC-wise it will probably be a wasted month anyway.  Since work travel = extra cash and TTC is expensive I will just chalk this one up to "everything happens for a reason" but still a little irritated!

Me 39 & suspected PCOS, DH 42. Went off BCP when we got married in 11/11, seriously TTC since 3/12.  Six cycles of clomid = BFNs.  Suspected endometriosis & HSG showed both tubes blocked.  Sept 2013 IVF 5D transfer of two perfect embryos = BFN.  Started acupuncture and taking time off to drop some pounds & get healthier before FET in April 2014.

Re: New OBGYN appointment made

  • I'm due for my annual, and my OB/Gyn recently took a position as a hospitalist and no longer sees clinic patients, so I'm in the same boat as you.

I've been polling all my friends and I think I found a good match...I guess I should make the call b/c I didn't think about the delay getting in for new patients
