I was forced to clean out my parent's attic this afternoon and my mom made me take all my stuff! How unfair that I couldn't store it all at her house anymore! Anyways, while going through it all, I came across a TON (!!) of notes my friends and I wrote back and forth to each other. Holy cow were we whiners! It was all such stupid drama that was probably a really big deal then, but is no where near important in REAL life. Anyone else write notes in high school? Do you still have them?
Yes! I also found all of that type of stuff when my parents moved and gave me everything that belonged to me. They were nice enough to leave it on my front porch! LOL I'm still friends with most of those people I knew "back then", there are six of us and we meet once a year for a little reunion, so I brought some of our notes when we met up. It was fun to read them all again and realize what weirdos we were/are.
I found a notebook filled with notes I wrote back and forth to my lab partner in bio class. I showed them to her recently (we are still friends)...they were hysterical. I also found junior high diary entries: talk about pathetic drama!
I think I still have a box like that somewhere. Probably at my parents' house! I don't think I ever fully moved out. I think someday they'll probably just get rid of my stuff. I doubt I need it since it's been there for like 4 years without being touched.
The friend I wrote the most too in HS always handed me back my notes after she read them so I have a near complete set of correspondence between the two of us. They are really hilarious to read. I may have to send her a set of copies for her 30th b-day coming up just to see how red she'll turn from them.

Yes...you are not alone. We would write about the stupidest crap, but that's what kids do. lol
I no longer have my box of letters. After moving 3 times in the last 4 1/2 years, I threw out crap we no longer needed.
In middle school I wrote notes a lot. But I don't remember there being a need for it in high school.
Back when I was working at a middle school I noticed the kids didn't write notes as much. They mostly just text nowadays.

Oh yea, me and my friends totally wrote notes to each other. I had shoeboxes and binders full but when I moved, I might've thrown them out. Boourns!
