Blended family party update

The party that BM put together for my SS's 8th grade graduation on Saturday went well.  It was actualy not bad at all.  I noticed that my H didn't really talk to BM much at all.  She brought her boyfriend, and he was a really nice guy.  My H really liked him too and SS seemed really happy about that (SS is always talking about him in a very positive way).  My the end of the evening BM's boyfriend was hanging out talking with my H and his two brothers.

My MIL was a little tipsy, probably because she was nervous about having everyone at her house and not really knowing how we'd all react to each other.
