Paraguard, anyone?

I have having this put in at 2, but I am second guessing my decision. Anyone here have this already? Do you love it, hate it? How bad did it hurt to get placed/taken out? Would you recommend this? Why or why not? Thanks ladies!!

I had mine put in 8 weeks after having DD. It didn't really hurt at all, a little bit uncomfortable, I took two advil around an hour before my appointment. Just a warning though the first few periods with it have been awful for me, terrible cramps, crazy pms. I think I'm going to stick with it. It is so much easier not to have to think about bc.

I got mine put in 6 weeks PP. The actual placement didn't exactly hurt, it was just uncomfortable, kind of like a dilation check that goes on longer than you want it to. I also took ibuprofen an hour before so maybe that helped. I haven't gotten my first period yet, but the last few days I have had random cramping and spotting out of no where. I admit I'm a little nervous about the periods, I keep hearing how they're extra painful. So far though, it's been great - can't feel it, never think about it, and I don't get the mood swings I normally got with hormonal BC.
