I made a scheduling error with DS's speech evaluation. I put 4:30 pm. and thought it was for next Friday. I already have a 5:00 pm. for behavioral for tomorrow. Turns out speech is for tomorrow, too.

We will have OT at 2:00 pm. tomorrow for an hour and run to the next appointment.

Luckily, speech and behavioral are in the same building with the same receptionist. She was able to get me in at 3:30 for speech evaluation and 5:00 for behavioral.

So, 3 appointments in one day! I hope DS will cooperate and is in a good mood.

I only have experience with 2 appointments in one day.

Wow- that is jam packed!  Bring snacks and goodies along- may be a little fatiguing. 

We have our first OT appt on July 3rd, and I am scared, but looking forward to it.  It may lead to Speech and Feeding therapy, we aren't sure.  I am horrible at scheduling; so I am guessing we may be in the same boat at some time too!

I keep everything in my phone calendar and in my day planner and still managed to schedule DS's swim lessons at the same time as his speech therapy.  I had to call the lady back about 30 minutes after hanging up when I realized it.  Luckily she understood and we were able to get it worked out.  Good luck tomorrow and I agree with the PP about bringing snacks and a fun toy to keep him entertained.

I remember those days. I second the snacks, goodies, and change of clothes. Being extra-prepared is always good. OT should go well as they usually get some physical activity in that. Speech should go ok, but your lo might start to get bored and tired by the end. You might want to mention to the behaviorist what a busy day lo is having when it's time for that. They may be more sympathetic and animated to help lo through it.

The ot and the behavioral are just service sessions. Speech is the only evaluation.

The only reason I scheduled the best I could was because I work 40 hours a week and on Friday afternoons I am off at 12. OT is our only appointment that has to be on Fridays because they are open Monday - Friday.

I was rooting for Saturday for Speech, but they did not have that available.

DS's mood is not guranteed so we will see what happens when we are there.

Oh, I missed that speech was an eval. I was thinking it was a service session. Hopefully they'll get to see his normal behaviors and weaknesses.
