    What's a Bristine?

    I like Leah Isabelle, spelled correctly.  

    ETA: If you don't like the letter C, choose a different name. Don't just make one up. There are plenty of good names that start with B.

    Leah definitely, but I cannot get on board with the middle names. Isabelle would be okay spelled right, like PP said.

    Lily Breeann or Leah Izabelle.

    Forget about Bristine. It's your bad idea, but your kid is the one who will have to deal it. Imagine going through life having people ask how you got your unusual middle name and having to tell the riveting story, "My mom doesn't like the letter C." Awkward silence . . .

    Try Brisa, Brielle, Brie, Briar, etc.

    Ahhh I just found that thread! Thanks...DS is up nursing every half hour tonight, I needed something to entertain me.

    Lily Brianne.  I prefer this spelling.  Even though she won't use her MN often, it would be nicer to not have to spell it out every single time.

    Well, those are just truly awful.  Lily and Leah are the only two on there that are remotely OK.  "Izabelle" just looks like you can't spell.  "Bristine" looks ridiculous and looks like you misspelled "pristine".  That spelling of "Brianne" looks like you need some Hooked on Phonics...stat.

    I'm glad you're not pregnant yet...there's still plenty of time for you to rethink this stuff.  YIKES.

    Granted, I'm not a fan of any of the "Br" names like Bree, Brielle, etc, but Bristine is just about the worst one I've heard.  I'm sorry.  It's awful.

    Thanks to the OP for all this drama during my sons nursing marathon. As an RN my very favorite part was using taking someone else's narcotic pain medications to justify her actions.  

    Also, women of the bump, I cannot tell you how much your selections of gifs have entertained me today!

    DD: 6/30/09. Mild pre-e DS: 9/5/10. Normal pregnancy Diagnosed 6/4/12 with dermatomyositis. Currently on Prednisone and IVIG therapy. 9/11/12: Normal a/s for DS2.
