Did you stop met cold turkey or wean off of it?

Just went to the Dr.'s for my 16 week appointment and she said to just stop the met.  What's your experience--did you just stop or wean yourself off of it?

Cold turkey.  My RE had me stop as soon as I found out I was pg.  I had no side effects when I was on it, and had no problems when stopping it.

I stopped cold turkey and had no problems.  My RE had me stop at 14 weeks.  I couldn't wait to stop taking those horse pills every day!!!

My RE told me to stop cold at 12 weeks.  I decided to wean myself off of it and stopped it at 14.  If I get pg again, I will take it longer no matter what they tell me to do.

I took it until 13w and I weaned myself off of it.  I was taking 1500mg and I reduced it to 750mg for about 1.5 weeks and then stopped taking it.

I stopped cold turkey at 12 weeks too.  I hate no side effects and was so glad to be off the medicine.  I don't think it was helping my m/s at all!

I stopped cold turkey.  My RE had me stop around 9 weeks.  I was so glad to not have to take those anymore.

it is better for you to wean off, but some people have no issues with cold turkey
