An older (rude) lady at work just told me that my baby was going to be "huge" because I've already gotten so big. She felt so strongly about it that she said it about three times. I just said "thanks for your concern, but she's actually measuring right on track." What I really wanted to say was "F you."
I really don't need anyone telling me how big I am. I see myself every day in the mirror. What a beeyotch.
Re: Thank you for your expert medical opinion...
When I was about 8 months along with my DD an older guy with a big round belly reached out and rubbed my belly saying " wow that's one big baby"
So I reached out and rubbed his belly and said " you too, are you having twins?!"
I had had enough of people commenting on my size by that point. People are just rude.
HA!!! You're my new hero!!!
LMAO. Oh goodness. That is a wonderful mental picture.
UGH!!! don't you just love mother in laws! they really know just what to say and when to say it
LOL this made me laugh so hard....My MIL drives me nuts when I am pregnant. I guess the hormones may have a factor but I cant even stand being in the same room as her when pregnant. I smile and handle her when I am not pregnant, but now is something different. I find myself biting me tongue and sometimes it slips. Not just sometimes but quite frequently lately...lol
I had a woman tell me this, only to walk away, grab a friend, and come back and point at me and tell her friend how far along I was. Then the friend told me how huge I was going to be.
"you need to walk.Get you some exercise"
