Ever feel like you can't breathe?

This happens to me all the time. I feel like i can't take a full, deep breath. It's not a panic attack-y thing where you start to hyperventilate. It's just a slightly annoying thing where you can breathe, but can't get a full breath in for some reason. What the f is that about?

  • It isnt normal. Get your azz to the doc.
  • You might have asthma.  Or your H needs to take the ball-gag out of your mouth.

Do you try to yawn to catch your breath? If so, it's anxiety.

Huh. Yes, I totally do this! I don't feel anxious about anything right now though. Maybe it's subconscious? So weird.

Yeah, anxiety is weird like that. You could not have anything to feel anxious about, but you'll just get it. And the more you think about it, the harder it will be to catch that breath. And then when you finally doooooo... it's like pure bliss.

Yes! I could not have described it better. Thanks Dr. Twattles!

I do this too.  Sometimes I think too much about breathing (that sounds weird) and this happens.  When I try to think of something else, it usually passes without me noticing.

Yes, I know exactly what you're talking about. Doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's annoying as shiit until I can get a deep breath. Never thought about it being anxiety related, as I don't usually feel anxious when it's happening. Interesting.

Another vote for anxiety.  I've found I'll be all anxious about something, a bit of time will pass, and then I won't be able to breathe.  Kind of a delayed response.  I have to think about something else (and not that I'm going to die) for it to go away.
