Help with bug bite on DS's boy parts

We went camping last night. I bathed the kids once we got home and he has a bug bite on his penis. I put hydrocortisone cream on it. He was fine earlier, but is now complaining and having a hard time sleeping because it itches. I put more cream on it, he has a cold compress, and I gave him oral benadryl. Is there anything else I can do?

    I think you've done all you can right now. The only other thing I would suggest is a baking soda bath. Poor buddy. I've used kid's after bite on my son, which is mostly baking soda, but I'm not sure how it would do on a penis.
