basically my DH is a saint

My DH is a freaking saint. Tomorrow is Father's Day- well I've been under an incredible amount of stress and we're in the middle of a move. Seriously the amount of crap going on at once is ridiculous- still my DH has to deal with as much as I do. So, my DH is working these odd ten hour shifts that would end with me stuck in the middle of moving with basically no air conditioning, no help, and having to deal with my in laws who (interestingly) neither one of us like.

So my husband- surprises me with a hotel stay for two days (last night and tonight- he got a really great discount which was also nice) away from all of that. He has to work from 3pm to 1am and basically gets to enjoy none of it. He did it anyway- because I'm super pregnant and stressed the frick out.

Needless to say (WARNING could be TMI) :

This man got laid- a lot- and will probably be again tomorrow.

Back to G-rated programming:

The first night SS was with his BM's Mom and I got to relax- and today SS and I got some really great time just the two of us. We went swimming- which is more like SS clings to my neck whilst being in water- (still i got him to stretch out a little and kick his legs- still had to be attached though lol). Then we got supplies and made Daddy a HUGE poster sized tri-fold Father's Day card- collaged with pictures, drawings, quotes, etc. and put his Father's Day present together. I wrote him a letter about how much he means to us and we watched finding Nemo and had cuddle time. I really love the one on one time with SS- he's an amazing kid.

Basically I feel really blessed and am hoping to shower the love on DH tomorrow. He's a great Dad and a pretty freaking great husband. I feel like a spoiled rotten beetch.

Anyway- I've done a lot of whining and complaining and venting and so I wanted to share an instance where something nice happened. Hope my horrid bragging doesn't offend anyone.
