Is 2pm too early for wine?

DS really needs a nap but so far, he's still talking to himself in his crib.

Last night, DS fell into the side of the bathtub, giving himself a nice bruise on his forehead.  My dog managed to get shiit stuck to his butt, so I got to give him a bath too (luckily, that happened after DS was asleep).  Then, I had to clean the tub because - well, eww.  Also, I lost a contact but didn't know it, so I fished in my eye for five minutes, turning it bright red.  (So today I am in glasses, which I hate.)

I'm thinking a glass of wine might make this weekend look better :)

PS - Hi!  I'm new :)

  • Hello, welcome! My son is currently talking to our cat in his room when he should be napping.

    Hi there!

The pillow that J uses has a picture of our dog on it, and that is what he is talking to currently.  "Hi, puppy pillow.  Hi, puppy pillow."  It would be cute - if it made him fall asleep ...

  • Also, I don't see a problem with some 2pm wine.

  • I'm seriously considering pouring some wine. DH is working and DS is a demon child today. Pretty sure we're dealing with some molars and its hell.

I feel you.  Molars are exhausting.

It's been an hour and DS is still wide awake.  Sigh.

Thanks, me too! Counting down until bedtime!

  • He is STILL awake.  His music turned off a while ago and he was quite for about 7 minutes, so I thought he'd fallen asleep.

    Nope.

    Still awake.

  • Maybe even if he doesn't sleep he will at least be rested. Sometimes DS does that. In fact, DS was so grumpy that I stuck him in there hoping he'd take another nap. What an awful Saturday.
