Interesting Book....

I've just started reading "Is Your Body Baby Friendly?" by Alan E Beer. It explains 'unexplained infertility, miscarriage, and IVF failure. It seems really interesting so far. Im really enjoying this doctor's take on these issues.

Unexplained Infertility
5 rounds of clomid and 4 rounds of tamoxifen = BFN
IUI #1 - Jan 2012 with Tamoxifen - BFN IUI #2 - Feb 2012 Cancelled :(
IVF #1- May 2012: BFP on 05/29/12!! 06/01 Beta #1= 122 06/04 Beta #2 74 :( - C/P
06/07/12 = BFN Moving onto IVF #2 August 2012
22 retrieved, 13 fertilized, none to freeze
Transferred two embies on 08/19. Beta 1 is 08/31 Beta #1-122 Beta #2- 541
1st U/S 09/12- 1 sac!
Praying this is my take home baby!

    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
    IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
    Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13

    It doesn't come on Kindle!  Sad  May need to suck it up and buy a paper copy.  Looks interesting and the reviews are great.

    Me: HSG 4/2012 Tubes Clear, Hypothyroid, PCOS
    DH: MFI, SA #1 2 million, SA #2 no sperm, SA #3 7 million total
    DH is now on HSG shots 2x week, 2.5 MG Letrozole 2x week, Vitamin B Complex, 600 mg Alpha Lipoic Acid, and 400 mg CoQ-10.
    UPDATE:
    3/2013 IUI with Femara, BFN
    4/2013 IUI with Femara, BFN
    5/2013 IUI with Femara, BFN
    8/2013 IVF with Femara, Bravelle, and Lupron, 4 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilized, 3 grade 2 Blastocysts transferred day 5, BFN
    8/2013 Exploring domestic infant adoption

    I tried to find it for Kindle a well but it wasn't available. I ordered it and had it in 3 days!

    Not available in Nook either.  I also read the reviews and they were great.  Think I'm going to head out today in search of it.
    Me 38, DB 38. Unexplained infertility. TTC 3 years. 3 failed IUI's. IVF #1 5-20. 3 embies transferred day 3. First beta 5-31. BFN. IVF#2 ER 7-31. 3 embies transferred day 3. Beta 1=144. beta #2=527. beta#3 3027. US: 1 perfect heartbeat at 156!
