How was the UK trip? Did the kids get used to the time change?

Re: Littlejen

  • The trip was great, we visited family for 10 days and then went to London for 10 days. The kids loved all of it. They never fully adjusted but were. It too bad, sleeping from around 11 or 12 until 9 or 10 most days. They took way longer to adjust back and were waking up really early when we got him so I am glad they never fully adjusted when we were there.

They loved riding the tube and all other transportation and loved St James Park playground near Buckingham Palace. We stayed near the London Eye and spent a lot of time walking on the waterfront there. But the most exciting part of the trip is we saw the Queen!  She was opening Parliment that day and was in her carriage at the Horse Guard Parade. It was very cool. I will post some picks when I get a chance.  Thanks for asking.

  • Wow! I'm not even sure the Queen was in residence when we were there. But we were there a month before THE wedding, so I bought a couple things at Westminster Abbey, lol.

It's so great that they had a good time! DS loved the tube, too. He carried around a map in his pocket the whole time.

Hope you do post some pictures!
