Over the course of the last few days I've noticed that I've really been craving sugar. I want drinks with sugar and gum. This is unusual for me. The only sweets I normally crave are chocolate.
I don't have an explanation. But I can tell you that I am right there with you. Except, I really want brownies all the time! I was never one that really liked a whole lot os sweets or desserts in the past. Old wives tale says that you are having a girl when you are craving sweets.
To be a bit healthier, you can try eating fruit. I like having frozen fruit or those 100% fruit bars from the grocery store when it's hot out.
I'm frustrated because fruit doesn't satisfy the cravings and it is weird because the craving is specifically not with food. My body wants the sugar but doesn't want to eat anything.

You're body craves what your lacking - like when you want sugary sweet items - you're probably really needing magnesium/chromium (essiental vitamins). Try eating a sweet potatoe, or fresh fruits with Stevia sprinkled on top, grapefruit with sea salt. You can google what your cravings really mean, and healthy ways to satisfy them.

I think it's important to limit how much you give into your sugary cravings to just one great treat a day.
