This may sound a little bit crazy but I wanted to know if anyone has ever done this. I am 14w pregnant (will be 15w tomorrow) and I can't wait to hear the baby's heartbeat again. Has anyone ever called up their doctor just to go in quick to hear it? Even if you weren't due for a doctors appointment for a little while?

inexpensive is relative. I haven't decided if 60 dollars is worth it yet. I want one but I am trying to determine if its cost effective.
I paid around $80 for mine since the shipping to Canada is a bit expensive but the way I look at it, I can resell it for close to the same amount so totally worth it IMO. There's always adds of people looking for one on my local kijiji (same as craigslist).
This! I got one on ebay - Angel Sounds Fetal Doppler - for $30. I love it!

I have heard my babies heartbeat everyday since I was 10 weeks.
I had a m/c 2 years ago and with this pregnancy I was super nervous, so with a little research I found this at home fetal doppler (ill post the website at the end). I was able to find the heartbeat at 10 weeks and everyday since then. Its perfect for the nervous moms-to-be like me and its not even that expensive.
*Just remember if your placenta is in a weird position or your a bigger woman you might not hear it as early as I did.
Here is the website! enjoy!
