I have just started researching cribs, crib mattresses and crib beddings. I dont find out whether its a boy or girl for another 3 weeks, so I likely wont buy anything till then, but would love to see what you are eyeing / buying. Do share!
We got the Legendary collection of Baby's Dream furniture in espresso. We wanted to get something that we thought would easily last to adulthood. We found some bedding we really like at the same store (Lone Star Baby & Kids) called Arctic Friends (forget who makes it).

I am doing the Davenport by Baby Appleseed for the furniture and the bedding I found on distinctivenurseries.com.... they have tons of bedding and nursery ideas!!
For LO I got the Delta Eclipse set in black cherry. Crib Dresser and Changing Table. I wish I had not done such matching furniture. Plus I the wide dresser really took up a lot of room. I ended up DIY a tall dresser(chest of drawers) off of craigslist.
Loved the crib. We went back and forth for awhile between toddler and crib with this bed while trying to get LO use to sleeping in the toddler form of it. It was easy to convert back and forth. Good quality and DH said it was pretty easy to put together. I loved the color.
We have a simmons beauty rest crib mattress. I hadn't even researched them but a vendor said he had one that they used for maybe a month. It looked brand new. I have really loved this mattress for LO. When looking for #2 I realized how expensive this mattress is and how lucky I was to get it!
I don't like bedding sets. But one would not ahve looked right in LO's room. Her decor was bright and busy so I went plain with bedding. Solid pink sheets and cream colored blanket. MIL made LO a blanket that was the color of her room so we eventually switched to that.

I don't buy everything organic, but the crib mattress is one of the things I felt was important to have chemical free. DS and DD both have mattresses from naturepedic (https://www.naturepedic.com/) and I have been so happy with them. DD used hers for almost 3 years and DS is still in his. They are really high quality and safe.

We are ordering ours from amazon. (We're prime members, so we get free shipping). We are getting the DaVinci Kalani Convertible crib in espresso ($249) with the conversion rails that they sell separately ($89) and the mattress is the DaVinci Twilight ultra firm deluxe ($55). We're planning on getting a matching dresser as well.

This but we got the Renaissance collection It only took 15 min to put the crib together.......I am impressed
I am still looking at bedding. I want something simple with a variety of colors. We want to do a beachy look, but no theme. I found this bedding and DH thinks it is perfect as well!! It is a little pricey, but for now it is the only bedding we like!
Just here to suggest the sealy soybean mattress. It is superlight which makes sheet changes easy, and still firm. Ours looks/feels exactly as it did when we first got it. I will be getting a 2nd for this bambina.
Re: What crib + Crib mattress + crib bedding are you narrowing down on?

*we're reusing LO#1's crib -- Jenny Lind in White
*we're getting a duplicate of her mattress for the new baby -- can't remember exactly, but it's a serta that we got at BRU and have had no problems.
*and the Plum Crazy bedding from Caden Lane is what i'm most excited about

There are a lot of really expensive cribs I would LOVE to have, but they just don't make sense. We found this crib and love it and the price!

I don't like the crib sheet with the bedding, I want these to go with it instead.
