Name Dilemma

My husband and I both like Dylan, but recently I've been having doubts and I like Luke a lot but he likes Dylan better........any input?

I like both equally. Luke seems more common/popular, so I might go with Dylan.

I have to go with Dylan.  I have a cousin named Luke, and all of his issues have ruined the name for me!  Plus, I had to Luke's in my preschool and one of them had major behaviors.

They are both good names!  I think Dylan is slightly less common so I would go with that.

Luke. I'm not a fan of Dylan; it's really, really common in my social circle and can't get past the 90210 connection.

I feel like Luke is more classic and won't have the associations Dylan does (my mind goes straight to Bob).

I like Dylan. Unlike previous poster I think of it as being a more common name. Luke seems like a nm and too close to Duke (a pet name).

I really like Dylan, but I like both names.

The only thing with Dylan is some people are choosing it as a girl's name in the last few years - but this isn't too common.  I like it better for a boy.

I don't like Dylan. I think it's actually more common than Luke in my area. I also grew up with quite a few Dylan's, so I see it as pretty late 80's/early 90's.

I'm neutral on Dylan... I love Bob Dylan and Dylan Thomas, but it still has a bratty/bad-boy feel to me (maybe because of 90210? I don't know).

I like Luke. I've known a few Lukes, and they were all nice (and handsome) guys.

We are naming our LO Dylan.We love the name Luke though (our dogs are Luke and Ben, wish we'd saved them for kids. ha ha) I think of both 90210 and Bob Dylan but don't care. In fact, our LO will be Dylan Robert (family name.) Go with what you both love.

 Yeah my hubby is a huge Bob Dylan fan so that is where we got it from, so it is okay if you think of him! haha

I've been hearing dylan a lot lately.

 still I like them both, we've decided to wait to officially pick until he is actually here....maybe after I do all the pushing I will get to make the final decision??
