Help me decide (water toys)...

I got a $25 Amazon gift card for my birthday and can't decide which item to buy.

I am currently down to two, one being a splash pool and the other is a water table.

Which do your kiddos enjoy? Are there any cons to these items? I appreciate any feedback - thanks!

  • My DD loves her water table.  Granted, she sometimes drinks groaty old water before I have a chance to change out the water when we get outside, but overall it is a good buy.

  • We have that pool. Its cute and my kid enjoys it on a really hot day but, since you're hooking it up to your hose (and assuming you have only cold water feeding into your hose), it will be pretty chilly.  The water table might be better in more weather conditions.

  • Water table.  It's great even if you dont want to put them in a full on swim suit but are outside playing.  Yeah they may get a bit wet but it's nice to have something she can play with water in without having to worry that it's too cold or having to get her in a suit everytime.  Plus if you get one that is a sand and water table you can use it for just water in both sides now and when she gets older put the sand in as well so she can have a sandbox.  We have this one and love it.

  • Water table, hands down. We have one and it can keep my DS occupied forever! Just be sure it's warm enough outside because they do get wet! I only allow ours outside with water and drain it when we're done. He loves it. Not sure what a spash pool is- baby pool?

This.. I like not having to completely change DS into swim clothes and he likes playing in water. Win win.

  • B's 1st bday is Sat, I'm really excited to get him a water table. We're interested in the Tropical Island Resort water table.
