Okay, so I'm a little misleading... The pics are on my blog.  I don't feel like uploading them all to tiny pic and doing all that jazz, but if anyone is interested in seeing my dresser project pics, my blog address is in my siggy.   I'm pretty darn proud of DH and I.

Okay, I tried that and it looks clicky, but it doesn't really do anything.   lol...did I mess up or does it work for you?

Shazzie, we used a 200 grit sandpaper and lightly sanded, then primed and painted.  It's not solid wood...it's a composite, so you can't sand it down too much. Just enough to rough up the surface and try to get some of the veneer off of the top.

We actually got them from Home Depot.  All 10 came to about $30.  We had wanted the pulls to be branches and the knobs to be owls but it was going to be too expensive.  The ones we found were like $13-$25 EACH.   We only paid $15 for the dresser!!!  lol...

I feel you!  We have a hand me down dresser that I'm going to refinish and I'm hooked on expensive knobs and pulls. I'm annoyed that I need both, too. ::sigh::

I'll be doing an HD lunch run for paint, so I'll check it out.  Gracias!

They are hard to resist.  lol...    Also, just a tip...check out the regular section for knobs and pulls AND the bathroom section (where the display bathrooms are)   They have a few different pieces, I believe.
