Cloth Diapering

New diapers leaking...Thirstees All In ones

I got 3 of the Thirsties all in ones for a decent price (15.75ea) + got 1 free diaper.  I had never used them so I figured I would try.  I ran them through a rinse and wash and then dry.  I have used 2 of them today and they are leaking around the inside of his legs and the diaper seems soaked even after only 2hrs.  This isnt what I experience with the bumgenious which I normally use.  Do you think they just havent reached their absorbancy potential?  They also are leaving red marks around his legs :(  I dont know if I should just re-sell or what.  You cant return if used.

Re: New diapers leaking...Thirstees All In ones

  •  I have 1 thirsties AIO and it has always leaked. I can only use it for very short periods of time.  I did like it because it was super trim, but again not very absorbent at all.  BG is WAY better IMO.
  • Had the same problem. Now that diaper is the "diaper bag diaper."
  • Loading the player...
  • I didn't have luck with those either.  I haven't had luck with many Thirsties products though, they usually leak around the legs on DD.  I can't figure out why though because there aren't gaps.  I think it's just however they're designed that doesn't work for her.

  • Our leaks very quickly, as well :( I love their duo wraps but am not a fan of their AIO. Even when I add in a thick bamboo booster, we still get leaks around the legs in less than 2 hours! I now just use this diaper as our last diaper of the day so that we can put her straight into the bath after taking off her wet pants.

Me too, until I sold them off on Diaperswappers. (yey!)

    I should do that....

  • Without extra absorbency they leak for us, too. I love how trim they are though, so now I just I fold a Hemp Babies diaper doubler in half twice and place it in the front of the pocket area. I would try doing something like that, and then if they're still leaking get rid of them.

  • I hated mine too... they leaked through the snaps.  I contacted Thirsties, and they swapped mine for the duo diaper, much better.
