Well that was alot of anxiety about nothing on my part, I was terrified after my HSG that this was going to be extremely painful, but I barely felt a thing! I do feel a bit leaky right now, but nothing crazy. RE said everything looked good so I think I'm done with the icky tests for now..
I am a bit concerned about the IUI/IVF conversion issue, the more my RE talks about it, the more it seems to me like this is going to be a straight IVF cycle which means 100% OOP. He wants me to speak with his IVF coordinator this week so I'm just going to have to straight up ask her how this is going to be handled. If it's 100% OOP we might have to wait and do a cycle at the end of July. I guess I'm just thankful we'll be able to do it at all... but also hopeful that maybe luck is on our side this month and I won't have to do it at all!
Re: Update- Saline Sono this morning
Glad the sono went well! Hopefully you'll get everything cleared up and moving forward when you talk to the coordinator...good luck!

So glad the sono went well-- what a relief!
I hear you on the frustration of the OOP thing. Did you know that in my state, people on MaineCare (ie. public assistance) can get IF paid for? But people with jobs, are at the mercy of their individual insurance companies. So ridiculous!
I hope you have a successful cycle and don't need any follow-up, but it's nice to know that you have a good team behind you in case you need their help!

Wow, I did not know that, I feel there is an appropriate use for public assistance in certain circumstances, but should you really be adding to your family if your already on assistance? That's seems really counterproductive!

Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled.
