Disinfecting diapers

How often are you supposed to disinfect the diapers?  We've been using cloth for 11 weeks now and haven't disinfected yet.  The diapers come out of the wash pretty clean and don't smell.  We use regular Tide to wash them.

As long as they smell clean you're usually good.

Like others said, there's not a real need to do it, but if it makes you feel better, you can always sun them or add some white vinegar to the rinse. I also just used a tiny amount of bleach on my inserts, but I'd been using them for 5+ months and thought it'd be good to get them nice and clean (though probably not necessary).
